Application
The test set FEV Annex 5 Number 2 assesses driving-related ability dimensions and meets the statutory requirements of Germany’s driving license regulations FeV Annex 5 Number 2.
The test set allows economical and exact assessment of the statutorily defined ability dimensions. The traffic psychological investigation can be adapted flexibly to the specific conditions.
Legal basis
Applicants seeking to obtain a license, or have their license extended, for classes D, D1, DE, D1E or for the conveyance of passengers must in addition meet special requirements in respect of: Resilience, orientation ability, concentration, attention and reaction ability. Evidence that these requirements are met is to be provided by submitting a report from a practitioner in the fields of occupational medicine, labor medicine or medical psychology. Under FeV Annex 5 No. 2, the tests used in the assessment must be standardized in accordance with current scientific standards and validated from the point of view of traffic safety.
Scoring
- Table of raw scores, percentile ranks and confidence intervals and rating of relevant dimensions using a simple color scheme (traffic-light system: red-yellow-green).
- Profile
- Written report in short and long versions with profile diagram and verbal description of the individual results and details of cut-off scores for different groups of drivers.
